When a roof is past repair

Constant exposure to heat, high winds, hail, snow and ice raises the risk of damage and, in time, of failure, and it is not always easy to tell when a roof has crossed from repairable to finished. That is why we offer free roof inspections and free estimates in Springdale, Fort Smith and the towns around them.
Look at the roof as a whole, not at one leak. A repair holds when the shingles and the deck under them are sound. When shingles are cracking, curling or missing across the roof, or the deck itself has gone soft, patching one spot only moves the problem to the next one.
The inspection settles the question. We look at the roof, explain what we found and tell you whether repair or full replacement is the better option. A roof more than 15 to 20 years old deserves that inspection even before the first leak. The estimate is free and carries no obligation.

The three steps of a replacement
It starts with an Expert Assessment. Our approach to your new roof begins with professional assessments that yield on-the-spot estimates, so you get the information for the entire replacement: when materials are delivered, when installation happens and how your warranty works. The warranty is explained in that same visit, before any work is scheduled.
Second is Insurance Help. When storm damage is involved, we guide you through the insurance claim process, answer your questions and give you the damage documentation and details you need to file your claim with your insurance company. We answer your questions as they come up, so you are not sorting out the process alone.
Third is Financing Available. For homeowners who are not filing a claim, we offer financing with approved credit through Wells Fargo, and we accept credit cards, cash and check. A 3% processing fee applies to any card transaction. Financing lets you reduce your initial investment and move forward with the project, and approval depends on your credit.

What happens on the job
An average roof replacement takes 2 days, though the size of the roof, and sometimes its shape, sets the real number. Your sales rep gives you the timeline once the free estimate is complete, and the delivery of materials is scheduled as part of the same plan, so nothing about the week comes as a surprise.
Your project manager is your direct contact. The project manager tells you when the crews will arrive and answers your questions before, during and after the project. You will know a Foster Roofing crew when it shows up: our trucks are on the drive, and everyone wears something with the Foster Roofing logo on the front.
